TSA FAIL: 95 Percent of security tests were failed

The relevant details:

In a series of trials, the Department of Homeland Security was able to smuggle fake explosives, weapons and other contraband past airport screeners in major cities across the country, according to ABC News. Officials briefed on the Homeland Security Inspector General's investigation told the station that the TSA failed 67 out of 70 tests conducted by the department's Red Teams -- undercover passengers tasked with identifying weaknesses in the screening process, NJ.com reports.

My prediction: this will be exploited to for more funding to make us "safer."

Whoever leaked that report is in big trouble:

?We have started an investigation to determine where the leak was,? Inspector General John Roth told the Senate Homeland Security Committee.

That's right. We are gonna find you! Don't you ever, EVER, tell the American people that we are wasting billions on security theater:

Asked whether security at any one airport proved to be more lax than at others, Roth said, ?The results were consistent across airports.?

But never fear, there is a silver lining my friends. TSA just sucks because they don't have enough money:

?As we all sit and pound the desk and say how bad the TSA is, we have to remember that we keep cutting their money,? McCaskill said.
